They have the "Holtwood Rodeo" event near the end of October annually. I happened upon it on Saturday, October 19, 2024, when I got this photo. The group was extremely friendly and willing to tell you all about their sport.

The White Water Park at Holtwood Dam is beautiful. You can see people in white water kayaks in it when it's flowing. And when it's not flowing it good for walking and an amazing view of both the dam and the power...
