Great family destination that shows the history of the MA and PA railroad. The General Store had been restored to show what it would have looked like in the early 1900's with the Post Office, ticket booth, and antique displays. It also offers drinks, snacks and railroad themed gifts for sale. The second floor is a museum which includes historical antiques, a very nice diorama of the original railroad village, pictures and displays of the history of the station, a booth with telephone, telegraph, and desk can area that shows how the original office worked, and a toy railroad for young children to play. Outside you can also go in a self guided tour of the original mill and take a 5 mile open air train ride on the original track next to the creek and through the woods. It's absolutely beautiful. It takes at least 2-3 hours to see everything and it is very affordable for families. They even have themed weekends. I highly recommend visiting and also joining the preservation group, which you can do for as little as $25, to help preserve this small town railroad for...

We took the train ride and we got to talk to both the engineers who liked to tell us the history of the railroad. When we got back to the station, we toured the store and museum, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The docent on the top floor was very informative and engaging. What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in October...I highly recommend a visit to here... we plan on going back...
