It's pretty and well kept.
The memorial is beautiful.
They've soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball setups, but not tennis. They've an inclusive playground, meant to be safe even for kids with disabilities. They've bathrooms and a (drinking) water fountain (as opposed to the main feature, which is a memorial water fountain). Paths for walking, some shaded some in the sunlight. Benches. A couple pavilions. A grill. Oh and a community garden.
They've these wonderful trees, with a main sign showing what and where the different types of trees are. However, the map for the trees is very confusing, or possibly inaccurate, and doesn't have a symbol key to explain it.
Regardless, one of the nicest parks...

As you enter the memorial, you pass a beam sculpture from the World Trade Center towers.The twin fountains represent the twin towers. The name of each victim is etched into a glass wall that surrounds the fountains. The Garden of Reflection pays special tribute to Pennsylvania 911 victims and their families. Read moreThe Garden of Reflection at Lower Makefield's Memorial Park is a tasteful and understated homage to those lost on 911. The twin fountains are especially lovely. But the Park has so much more: a 2/3 mile walking path, a full size soccer field, two full court basketball courts, an imaginative play ground for the kids, two volleyball courts and a large area set aside for community veggie gardens.
