Went there for apple picking and had great time. Prices aren't bad: 20 lbs of apples for $35. (there is a credit or debit card fee so be aware, its around $2.00) It is a bit confusing if you are a first timer, they have a little table set up with wristbands but the two guys who were out by the table weren't really talkative of interested in pointing anyone in the right direction. Eventually one of the guys took notice, armed me with a wristband and bag and pointing me in the right direction of what apple variety was where.
Not super crowded, it was a nice quiet place to hang out and pick some apples. I did appreciate the signage that told you what the apples were and what they are good to be used for. Some let you know the kind of apple, a short descriptor of flavor profile, and if they were good for cooking / baking. Not all of the rows were marked this way, but the ones that were are a real help especially if you haven't baked or are familiar with certain varieties.

Their prices they try to keep as low as possible even when the growing season hasn't been the greatest. Their fresh pressed apple cider is mine and my husband's absolute favorite and just one more thing we look forward to every year. Now that I have my own children we make a point to go apple picking at least once a year with them as a family fun day to keep the tradition going since my own grandparents started it with me many years ago. I always recommend them to everyone who asks where the best place to go apple picking it. And also dont forget they fo offer peaches, pears, cherries, corn pumpkins and other veggies in their store as well as other...
Read moreA new favorite!! If you’re looking for a local family owned option for apple picking without the theatrics - this farm is a real gem! Everyone we met was so kind and helpful, there’s a good variety of apples to choose from & the prices are fantastic. So pleased to come home with our own picked apples, two giant bags of apple and pear seconds for canning projects, apple cider, fun pumpkins and scrumptious cider donuts. No corn pit or bouncy house here - which was ideal for us - the mountain view is spectacular & it feels like family-friendly farming...
