To anyone who has encountered some ratty light tan chihuahua named Lola. i apologize, she is mine. She’s pretty bipolar, some days she will come in all friendly but other times, she will come in like she owns the place and will try to act like the boss and will growl and attempt to nip other dogs. I promise she never has bitten any dog or any human in a way where she’s left a scratch or a mark even when she’s super mad. Deep down inside her tiny brain where she has 2 brain cells, she can comprehend that she’s a chihuahua and that she truly cannot defend herself against a bigger being so she will never bite with a full doggy force. She may try to nip your ankles (Only if you’re a man)! Typical chihuahua behavior!!! Thank you to everyone who has been patient with Lola and her ratty behavior. this park is lovely and the people are too. Lola leaves the park...

We've been taking our golden here since he was 7 wks old. He's 6 y/o now and he loves it just as much as he did then. Now his little brother (our 2 year old son) gets to run around with him and it's an absolute blast. The park has everything: paved walking trail around the perimeter (with water fountains for people and pups along the route), 3 separate sections for small, medium or large dogs, a big dirt hill and tunnels (concrete sewer pipes) for playing, plenty of open space completely enclosed by fence, fenced-in dog washing station with a hose, and even a playground and bathrooms outside the fence for the pups' human family to take advantage of. The dogs are almost always friendly and the owners are almost as enjoyable as the dogs :); it's just a great...

The Wellington Dog Park is part of a larger park system manged by the Village of Wellington Parks and Recreation Department. This park is well cared for and has ample space for your pooch to run around. If you do not have an area for your dog to run, I would recommend they come here. The visitors are friendly and animal lovers. The rest of the park is quote nice and You could easily spend an afternoon at this park with the family. So if you are in the neighborhood make sure you check...

We love coming here! They keep the grounds very clean and it’s a beautiful place to spend a Saturday morning. There are 3 sections: small, medium and large dogs. The large dog section is huge! Never had any issues with aggressive dogs or unfriendly owners. They have a bathing area, which has 2 separated faucets and a gated enclosure. There is a playground for kids and I believe they have public restrooms, but I’ve never been in to check it out.
