Dunbar Historical Lake — Attraction in Lubbock

Could be great place. Poorly maintained as usual for Lubbock city park. Wish they would do something to the parks besides just mowing the grass. Can't get to the water because of the reeds that they refuse to clean up. (Great-looking fountain that has been abandoned.) (Does not work.) Hasn't worked hardly at all in the past two years. (Sewage bubbling up through the pavement near the spillway which runs into the creek.) Polluting Buffalo Lakes. Sewage constantly running into the creek from somewhere under the street. (Stinks in that area.)

Maybe it's just because it's in East Lubbock. Just to let city council know, white people...

Together with the Canyon Lake Park system it is as good as it gets in Lubbock. Pretty when grass and trees are green still OK when not. From Spring to Fall you can rent kayaks from a booth by the lake. Don't drink or swim in the water though because it's full of heavy metals close to the safety threshold according to my colleague who had it checked by the...

Bruh…., this is a Great Lake to kayak at or go fishing or just to go smoke delta 8 and chill. It’s now my favorite lake to go to. The only bad thing about it is the car clubs love to peel out on the road which makes so much noise, but the lakes positives, outweigh the negatives. I highly...
