My uncle (who often visits the farm with his grandchildren being that he is local) stopped by here with myself and my sister-in-law (who is from Philadelphia) at about 7:02pm on a Saturday. She has never had an experience like this and didn't even know what an alpaca was so we thought it'd be nice to stop for a minute and show how awesome they are. We were rudely greeted by a man who began by yelling that we were trespassing on private property!(there was NO signs posted and the gate was open) My uncle responded calmly and apologized as well as explaining that he thought it'd be okay he is there often and knew there was a public store and other public areas on the property. This man continued to talk down on us and engage in a disrespectful manner! This is no way to address someone who has been a paying customer more than once for your family business! We've purchased Christmas trees, alpaca souvenirs among other things. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and attitude and if it was past the time the business was open (which once again, was not posted) he could've kindly told us they were closed for the night and to have a good weekend. Instead he was rude and acted in a manner which seemed to be threatening by stepping closely, raising his voice and shining a bright LED flashlight directly into our faces! He continued to address my uncle in a rude manner all the way out even as he kept his composure! I'd have given him an earful... never will I ever come here and I'm concerned that the way he addresses people reflects upon how he treats those poor...

What a great experience all around! My family and I visited Scotia Acres today and we're were blown away. Amazing how much hard work goes into running a farm like this. We got to watch the alpaca being sheared, toured the farm and learned so much about its history and the wonderful family that owns it. From the alpaca and the beautiful clothing made from their fleece to the chickens and beef cattle this farm has it all. The owners were very friendly and answered all our questions! I highly recommend a visit and shopping for locally produced...

A great visit! They were closed when we got there, but Graciously took the time to give us a tour. Our tour guide, their eight-year-old son, was my highlight of the tour. Will...
