Lumberton City Park — Attraction in Lumberton

This is a great place for families to let loose and have a great time. They have a playground suited for kids of all ages. A covered pavilion with a stage. Two sets of restrooms, one by the pavilion and one by the playground. A large open field area to play in, think throwing footballs or baseballs and kicking soccer balls. There is a pond as well but I'm not sure about fishing. Two fenced in dog areas, one for little dogs and one for big dogs. Several covered picnic areas to sit. A concrete path that circles around the park area. A splash pad, not sure when it's open though. Last but certainly not least they have a pretty nice disc golf course!

This park is very big with lots of potential for other additions. I would highly recommend a skate / bmx park tone added. It would be great for younger kids and teens to explore something new and adults to experience something they would've liked to have when they were younger. This park has a big pavilion to take refuge from those hot sunny days. It's got a huge fan but I think it can only be operated by city workers. There's also a disc golf course, dog park for big and small dogs, a playground area and multiple benches and basic grills. Lots of open fields and plenty of parking. We love Lumberton City Park or as locals like to call it 421 park.

The playground It’s completely fenced in and has an area for older and younger children there are shaded benches available. And they recently just built a skate park for the kids and almost completed construction on the new splash pad! Our kids are super excited for this we like going out there too hike, ride bikes, play and now there is so much more to do! We love the dog park as well!
