Great scenery and history! I only walked for about 1.5 miles so I'm sure there's much more to see. I deliberately went for the "Cemetery" which I wish had a documented history (a couple other sites had a marker and posted a narrative of their history). Also some of the trails were hard to pass either flooded and muddy or hard to see through the brush. However all trails I was on were very well marked and easy to follow otherwise. These trails while not mountain back country, aren't exactly clear level gravel paths, so bring boots! Only real complaint was a total lack of parking. The parking area fits about 5 cars, and on the day I went some people decided parking sideways was the way to go, so it was down to 3.
Again great history and scenery! I'll be going back for sure, just on a cooler day next time, was too hot and muggy too...

I'm okay with dogs being off-leash. But when there's other dogs, you leash yours or call them back. I had to scream because a dog lunged at mine, not playfully.
