Absolutely awesome tour. Nick was our guide don’t no how he remembered all the incredible information .Super friendly after tour also.. Mine is getting upgraded with animatronics and other stuff we will go back when thats up and going. If you wish to do a tour be patient he is a one man band . Be sure and Call and book your tour .we drove up and had to wait couple hours . But if He is on a tour nobody will be answering phone. Leave a message I witnessed him calling people back before and after our tour. I highly recommend if you have ever wondered how a coal mine operates check this place out. Its awesome. When done go to lamp house coffee shop across street and get a sandwich. Thats also were you can use bathroom . They have sandwiches and coffee and are very nice and have some books with pictures of the town as it was built. Very cool place to visit. This is a helpful high level view of how important this industry was through our history, and how it has changed over time.
