Promise Manor — Attraction in Lynchburg, Moore County

Owners were completely out of control and rude to my 76 year old Aunt and myself. I was disgusted with the way the owners spoke to my her. At one point the women who owned this establishment , told my Aunt that my Aunt was not going to walk away from her while she was talking as she owned the property and my Aunt would not walk away while she was talking . It was totally uncalled for . My Aunt explained that she didn’t even know she was talking to her . All of this and we just wanted to use the restroom . While everyone stood around with umbrellas the wedding started. A few people had to move out of the way as no one cleared the path for the ones walking down the isle(grass). Guest were also asked after the wedding to take their wet chairs in with them if they were able to . Save your family members and choose somewhere who respects guests. My Daughters wedding was last weekend at Promise Manor. Kayla was so awesome to work with from beginning to end. Our daughter had so many requests and ideas they worked through all of these so well. They day of everything was set up so beautifully and on time. The table were set up perfectly. The house is just beautiful and can accommodate the wedding party from brunch through the reception. Kayla's mother did all the flowers. We requested wildflowers which she grew. The Bouquets were just beautiful! I had the pleasure of getting to photograph a Valentine's Day Styled Shoot at Promise Manor earlier this year and I am SO blown away by how gorgeous the location is AND how friendly the owners are!
