We are confused...one sign says daily limit of 4 trout and or 4 catfish per day. Yet next sign says This is a catch and release area. Also, we took an elderly down the walk to try and fish. Down hill. He was winded going down taking our time. Had to get an ambulance to come down to the bottom to get him up and from heat aggravation. Just saying a roof over the one dock there is a MUST. Another is there should be the city scooter program there too. And a golf cart to aide oyr elderly down and back up. Love the place bit we want everyone to have easy access. There's a gate access on the other side with a road leading down to the park and roofed picnic shelter with only a few officials keyed access. It would be nice to vehicle our citizens with limitations down then go back up top and park in designated area. Like to have a Post clearly visible at park entrance of a Schedule of any days activities evolving boats etc on the water happening for fishermen. This is all real needs and reasonable. Love...

My wife, dog, and I try to come here multiple times a week during lunch or right after work and rarely have issues with how many...
Read moreNice park and pond, but a bit underwhelming. There is a small play ground, but nothing big; Fun for children either way, though. The boat rentals surprise me a bit just because of the size of said pond. Fun to fish there, but never caught anything; only smart fish there, so don't plan your destination weekend fishing expedition at Ivy Creek Park. There are a few trails, but they are a bit secluded so using the trails alone could possibly be an unwise idea. There are pavilions with picnic tables. Overall...
