Hate this place, will never go back again. We call ahead 5 MONTHS IN ADAVANCE to reserve a Gazebo for my niece's FIRST BIRTHDAY. We told the director the one we wanted and we were told its reserved for us now. We had handicapped attending and need easy access tothe bathrooms. Well, we arrived and a group had show up and hour before the reserve time and had taken the Gazebo we had reserved. We call park authorities and they come over and tell us we have the wrong one then and instruct us to a gazebo is 100 yards, up a VERY steep hill. The path was littered with dog poop, mud, and puddles of muddy water. I found myself walking through mud, while dodging dog poop. The park attendant that showed up is like 6'4, good 300lbs.+, just driving around his pick-up truck, obviously not doing a damn thing to clean up the park or assure people aren't taking other's people spots. There's a frisbee golf hole 15ft or less from Gazebo, so it was nice having to dodge concussions from the unsupervised kids running rampant around the park chucking frisbees without care, coming INTO OUR PARTY, messing our stuff. So, this was a terrible experience, thanks for ruining my Niece's first birthday party. Oh, also, some people had to leave because the couldn't physically make to the Gazabo...why we asked for the one we did. So thanks for pretty much ruining what was supposed to be a special day. Screw you Peaks View...

There needs to be some sort of implented shade for the parents and fans for all the softball fields. Covers over the bleachers would be great.

Also, females need more than a port-a-potty close to field 3. Sometimes, it's TOO LONG of a walk to the actual bathroom. Think about it!

The creek is a cool place for the kids to play. Adult supervision is a must!!!

All the umpires I saw this weekend were great. They were working very hard in the high heat and yet very kind to all the girls playing in the tournament.

The cleaning crew were AMAZING!!! Everyone one of them were extremely polite and professional.

The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, just a VERY long walk from field 3.

The staff driving the carts around to each field were GREAT. We had a medical emergency and the staff was very promt and professional, kind and understanding. They did everything they were supposed to do.

Parking was some what of an issue, but not horrible. There's only so much that can be done when a huge tournament is going on. Staff on site for parking were very kind and friendly.

This is a great park.... only a few things could make...

Not sure how to rate this Park. The Park itself is very pretty. I am very highly upset with what my family and I ran into today on one of the trails. My husband and I decided to take our 9 year old grandson to the park today. He loves to ride his bike on the trail. Well we walked up on two people having sex.Right there in the open for any one to see. It was embarrassing and it hurt me to the heart explaining to my grandson what had happened. After laying these two out and believe me it wasn't pretty. I went looking for someone to talk to that worked there. The only person I found was cutting grass. Explain it to the young man...well he wasn't any help. Wanted to know where and told me to call City Hall. I stopped every family with children explaining the situation. My thing is...You need someone there to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen in a family park. Did not call the police..they have bigger things to handle in Lynchburg. Hopefully tomorrow I will get intouch with someone or I'll be on channel13. Make our parks safe for our children, families and women that want to walk...

I have been to a LOT of parks all across the nation, and honestly without hesitation on my first visit I can say this is absolutely one of my favorites! It's a beautiful combination of sports and outdoor life, there is literally something for everyone here. From football, soccer, rugby fields to the baseball and field hockey fields, to the absolutely epic disc golf course, paths for walking biking and hiking through both open fields and wooded areas. A beautiful stream with access for dogs to drink, amenities all through the park make it easy to make a day of it, bathrooms, water, concession stands (that I assume only open during certain games), things to clean up after you dog, everything! My dog and I truly enjoyed every part of this park! So many beautiful smiling faces, loved watching everyone playing disc golf and ball and rising around and hiking, so many wonderful aspects of nature, medicinal plants and mushrooms everywhere, truly a reflection of the abundant blessings of life. I will be back and absolutely recommend to everyone in the area or passing through to stop by!

This is a great local park in Lynchburg, Virginia. I spent about two hours playing pickle ball on the tennis courts. It has a surprisingly large tennis court, and lots of other fields around, some great walking paths, and a great restroom. I was surprised by the quality of this park and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a sunny afternoon Enjoying the outdoors.
