Samson Estates Winery — Attraction in Lynden

We came to Samson's to hear the musical group Babycakes play. There were two options for seating: the large pavilion had tables/chairs or you could bring lawn chairs. The space is large enough that people could choose seating in either sun or shade. There was a bar area for purchases of beer and wine (wine by the glass only). The tasting room offered bottles of wine and wine slushies, as well as charcuterie for purchase. A pizza truck was on site; the pizza was a bit spendy, but was good quality. We had brought snacks in a small soft sided cooler, but saw a sign in the tasting room that no outside food or drnks are allowed. Wish we had of known this ahead of time; no where on the Samson website concert announcement did it say this. The band was fantastic and the crowd was chill. Samson is such a wonderful and unique place to visit in Whatcom county! This is one of the few wineries in the area and it is well worth the visit. Unique fruit wines and delicious classics! Their prices will make you smile as well :) every time I'm in the area I make a point to visit. Wow! Beautiful views and and wonderful wine.
