What a gorgeous place! It should be accessible on a bicycle from somewhere, and at least some part of the environmental center reopened to the public. Still, the views are incredible! The juxtaposition of all of the waterbirds, and grasses and the industrial wires, railroad, and Manhattan skyline is unbeatable.

Amazing place to go for a walk , be careful may be ticks but such a calming place to go for a walk and relax wish there were more bathrooms or more to do there but the calming environment is good enough. Actually found this place on accident searching for Pokemon last year and fell in love with the serenity.

This used to be one of my most favorite places to visit when I was a kid back in the 1980s. I used to ride my bike out to this place and explore the meadowlands. Back then the boardwalk was brand new, and very easy to ride a bicycle on because the trails were so smooth. You could also ride out to the end of the Transco trail and see the traffic driving along the New Jersey Turnpike. Lots of places to get lost back there, and lots of cool places to see. A true New Jersey treasure!...

Currently it looks like the environmental center is closed and it doesn't look like anyone's working on it. In fact parts look like they're going into disarray and appear to be suffering because of it. I hope in the future to see this place reopened and better maintained.

The environmental center would be a nice addition to a visit to the park, let's hope they get it up and running again soon.
