I do love coming here with my boyfriend 💕 It's romantic and fun. But I do have a problem with the fact I haven't found any signs of rules. I think rules should be no littering, dogs must be leashed at all times. And not damaging property. For I've encountered all three of these things and it's disgusting. Humans thinking they are so "INTITLED" to do as they wish. It's just gross behavior. However. This place is perfect for walks, picnics and just a fun day to hangout and be with family and friends. I do think ground rules are in order regardless it being a friendly place for all humans and dogs. As a fur baby mother with two pups of my own. Seeing irresponsible horrible dog owners have their dogs unleashed is disgusting and horrible behavior. I don't care how well behaved your dog is. Leash the dog like a rightfully dog owner would. Or it's possibly something horrible can happen to your fur babies or another's fur babies. Common sense should rule over idiotic moronic...
Read moreNOTE - this review is of the disc golf course only. Let me first start by saying if you are looking for a park for hiking and such, it is a very nice, fresh new park. This review isn't about the park.
The disc course however is a different story. It's terrible, like really bad. You will spend more time walking between some tees than actually playing the hole itself. #1 tee sign points in a direction and that's the end of how to find it. Hike through the brush to find a box, then hike around to find the basket before teeing off. This will be your experience. The growth is so bad and some of the hole layouts are so bad that you literally have to launch it and hope you can find it in the brush. Not long at all, but you won't be using a driver much on this course if at all anyway.
If we didn't have the U-Disc course map app, we'd probably still be out there trying to find our way out. We have other options around us, avoid this stinker...
Read moreThis park is absolutely gorgeous! It is truly a wonderful hidden gem in Lynn Haven! The first thing that we noticed was how clean everything was. There was not one piece of trash in sight. This definitely shows how much the visitors appreciate the beauty of this park and how much care is put into the upkeep by the maintenance staff. There is plenty of signage and maps to help keep you from getting lost. You can walk, run, jog, ride bikes, or rollerblade on the paved paths. You can also walk, run, or jog on the gravel paths. There's a disc golf course, a playground, an outdoor classroom, several picnic pavilions, several docks, calisthenics equipment, and plenty of bathrooms. There are plenty of areas to get some really nice pictures as well. This park is family friendly, stroller friendly, handicapped friendly, and dog...
