Lynn Haven Sports Complex — Attraction in Lynn Haven

We had an 8 yr olds birthday party here in middle of day on a scorcher. So the adults were complaining but kids had fun on the playground thank goodness. The ants by the pavilion were under the tables so we moved to middle to have cake. The bathrooms we're locked but the last time we had party there they were open. That was not good of course. I am grateful though to have been able to utilize their facility at last moment decision. So I would still recommend Lynn Haven rec center just be sure to bring some water balloons for fun and cooling off. Kids...

The Lynn Haven Rec Center has a very large walking track. They have multiple areas children can play. Their basketball court is indoors and well maintained. Their tennis courts could use some re painting, and the outside water fountains need repair. However, if you come prepared with hydration options then the rest of what the whole complex offers is peerless. It used to be a very nice park however it sustained a lot of damage from hurricane Michael. The ballfields and all buildings are still damaged beyond use. The sidewalks are still good for walking and the children's playground equipment is still good. It looks like workers are still doing trash pickup from time to time and replacing the dog poop bags.
