Let us begin our review by saying that this was a wonderful stop on our journey across Florida's coast in our motorhome with our daughters. We were looking for something unique to do with our daughters as we had been at the beach for several days in a row covering St. Augustine, Daytona, Cape San Blas, on our way to believe it or not... Mississippi where we will wake up at a Gator Farm tomorrow ๐. My wife and I are heavily involved in the wellness field, so this excited us. When our kids heard about the off leash dog park, pig, and fluffy white dog they decided this would be much more fun than another day at the beach. Kari was very friendly and professional on the phone and communication with her and Jason her husband was absolutely perfect. Not too much and not too little. When traveling to the location make sure to understand that you will be on a dirt/sand road for a few hundred yards. I found the roads to be very manageable but also am known for putting our motorhome in vicarious situations on a regular basis. When we pulled up Jason greeted us in the driveway and promptly pointed us to a spot between 2 picnic tables equipped with fire pits sitting right in the middle of their adorable little farm. We were given a brief overview of the grounds and were happy to hear that the hosts allowed generator use. As a matter of fact, Jason offered us an electric service hookup as they had a cancellation. My precious wife really enjoys solitude as much as possible while boondocking so while I wanted to give our generator a break, she pointed out how private our current spot was. We were offered farm fresh eggs to cook for breakfast in the morning and they were wonderful. One of our daughters who normally doesn't eat eggs requests a scrambled egg ๐. We were also given a complimentary bottle of lavender to use freely as a bug deterrent. If you are in this part of Florida and are terrified of bugs... you don't need to be. We wanted to make some homemade icecream but unfortunately our ice cream freezer is circa 1980 and sounds like a screaming angry chewbacca stuck on one note.... we muffled it with a towel and thankfully no one seemed to mind. Either that or they were very patient with us. It started raining. The ice cream was great. Around 4am we were rocking along in our blissful sleep when all at once our dual A/C and our generator all just stopped. We were deeply regretting not using the 30 amp service that was offered to us! To top it off it was raining. So I removed the cover of the generator, topped off the oil, layed hands and prayed over it, and then went back to bed. We woke the next morning to roosters and we fired the generator right back up with celebration. It was raining so we more or less stayed in for a few hours while getting ready for our trip to Seaside. When we all came outside Jason was there to open the store and we were very impressed with their products and the quality of their lavender oils. We actually have a retail health food store so how we are carrying Southen Grace Lavender Oil in our shop!! By the way we are also "Harvest Host Hosts". We loaded up on several items and thanked our host for being gracious. We would also like to add that our precious little Cookie, a miniature German Spits REALLY loved the little dog park area. That is a nice addition and it helped our little doggie get some exercise. We will definitely return to this host and look forward to using and helping others to discover their wonderful...

This weekend we booked a stay at a lavender farm in Florida, a midpoint in our journey because we didn't want to travel 8+ hours in 1 day with a trailer. ๐ณ We were already excited for this unique opportunity, but God had so much more in store for us. We pulled up to this cute little farm and got set up, initially greeted by Kari, but Jason found us a little bit later and gave us a detailed story and tour of their little homestead. Jason told us about a series of miracles where he felt the nudge to expand or improve their estate, but didn't have funds to do so...only to be gifted the exact amount of money said improvement would cost or to be gifted just what he needed to complete the task. Jason's story was very relatable as he talked about hardships he faced and wanting to do what was best for his family but struggling to make ends meet, but he remained loyal and obedient to God and God provided. Aaron and I loved Jason's story and at the end of our visit, Aaron had the perfect little gift for Jason: one of the light over darkness bracelets we had made last year. And I just love that Aaron got the nudge and obeyed God in that moment, with something that hopefully Jason will think of each day, and maybe pass it along to someone else who needs a little light.
We bought some teas and pillow spray that we are enjoying! We left yesterday, and already said we are going to need to order some teas and have them shipped home because we will run out in a few weeks. ๐ I couldn't wait to share this farm with our friends and followers, but struggled with the right words to say. Until this morning when I opened up the first 5 app, and the reading was from Hebrews 11. It recounts stories of faith and obedience to God and His promise to provide. I know I struggle with knowing what things might be from God and what things might just be internal or influenced by society, but I know I try daily to be obedient to God and share what I feel he has spoken with me to share.
Take this as a nudge, either from me or from God, to share your story. Maybe to someone you know, to a complete stranger, someone who might need uplifting, or someone you know who needs a little faith. Because stories build faith, and it's a simple way you can contribute to the growth of God's kingdom.
God's Word contains many promises to us.ย Some we will experience in our lifetime; others we will not.ย Let's not let this diminish our love for God or our faith in His Word.ย Keep your heart set on the Promise-Keeper, and hope will be your hallmark.

ย ย ย Read moreFound Southern Grace Lavender Farm through my Harvest Hosts RVing membership and stayed for 2 nights. The overall feel is well maintained comfy shabby chic. It's quaint, quiet, totally adorable and only 30 minutes removed from the hustle and bustle of the beach.
I opted to pay the very reasonable rate for 50 amp electrical hookup but boondock spaces are also available. There was ample room for my RV, deck over dolly, and my tow vehicle. The space I rented was smooth, I have an onboard auto leveling system and getting level was easy. There is a well above average ๐ฅ pit, concrete pad, picnic table and small but adequate grassy area in my designated spot.
Major bonus, there is a well maintained, sizeable, fenced, off leash ๐ play area with bench seating. I would recommend a future upgrade of an entry/exit escape catch and a small pergola over one of the benches for respite from the sun or rain, oh and a large bolder or two to draw male ๐ to mark which would help to prolong their beautiful fence.
There is an adorable "cottage " that works as their storefront and yes, I went a little overboard, and spent $117 on lavender products. Jason provided a test run of their Lavender oil when he noticed my name brand bug spray was grossly failing. Needless to say I purchased 2 bottles before I departed as it worked famously!
Additional bonuses were the huge, immaculately clean porta potty and hand wash station, free farm fresh ๐ฅs and...
