Leaser Lake Park — Attraction in Lynn Township

Great lake. Plenty of parking. Amazing fishing. They call it the fish of 10,000 cast, well not here. The tiger muskie is thriving here. Wether on a boat or from shore it's great fishing. More than plenty of room to fish from the shore. The bass fishing here is great as well. It was drained some years ago to fix the dam which at the time the opportunity was taken to build structures for to allow all species to live, hide, breed and thrive in numbers. A true gem in New Tripoli! I love to go hiking and have heard great things about this lake. I went on the trail that takes you all the way around and it was extremely well marked. It was impossible to get lost which I appreciate. Scenery is very beautiful and it is definitely a bird lover’s paradise! There is signs that lost all the types of birds that you will see. Wooded part of trail was a little confusing but I was able to figure out my way through. I could also see this being a great place to go fishing, although I don’t fish. Also, looks like a nice...

I thoroughly enjoyed this off of the beaten path park. The water seemed inviting and I would have loved to throw a line in the water.

Alas, I was far too distracted by birds and the cleanliness of the park. Well done whoever is handling the up keep in this park! You are sorely needed in some other parks around Pennsylvania.
