We love this "park" is very kid friendly maybe even dog friendly if you keep them out of the long grass. The trails are very easy to walk they are not paved though so it is not level ground. You feel like you are in nature when you go here and that is so nice! We have been looking for a place where we feel immersed in nature close by! there are multiple trails so you can make this nature walk as long as you would like it to be or as short as you need it to be. There's also a porta potty in the front parking area and a nice picnic area located more centrally to the trails with garbage cans and picnic tables.

I highly recommend this area, but be aware this is a very natural area so there are lots of bugs...

Beyond stoked to have this beautiful nature park so close to home! I could spend hours here, exploring and bird watching. It's perfect to take the family and walk the trail. It's also so serene and peaceful when I go alone. The trees are so tall and beautiful. It's sad the river is dried up, but it's still a beauty. The picnic tables are in a very nice, clean, and smooth cement slab. It's easy to navigate your way around with the signage, even if you venture off trail to explore 😉...

So nice to have a trail close to my home. Nice, tree covered trails. Great for the whole family. Besides the large rocks and decent incline at the beginning, I'd say trails are accessible with strollers that have larger wheels. There is access to the Medina River, which is non-existent right now. Took me and my 9 and 3-year-old about 45 minutes to walk the larger Medina trail. It will definitely be in great place to walk...
