Southwest Farms — Attraction in Lytle

I searched around for local farmers in my area because I wanted to start supporting local farmers/ranchers. I found Southwest farms and started following them on social media (IG and FB). I love what they are about, clean regenerative farming. I bought my first 1/8 cow and a few dozen eggs from them. The process is easy on their website. The descriptions are clear so you know what you are buying. I had a chance to meet Lee and his daughter at the Pearl Farmers market as well. They are kind people who are also transparent and offered that we (my family and I) can book a tour of the farm. This was our first HH stay in over a year and it reminded us what we love about the program! Lee's property was quiet and spacious. The kid's enjoyed the tree swing. The product was fantastic. We stocked our fridge with a bounty of delicious, organic ground beef, chicken breast, chorizo, beef sticks, eggs and more. The fresh salsa was the best we've ever had! This is a beautiful farm that truly models what right looks like when it comes to the full life cycle of our food - from soil to plate and everything in between.
