My husband and I rented one of the 4 cabins that run for a very reasonable price. Quite cozy, has queen air mattress and 2 smaller in the loft. Refrigerator. Give you an electric griddle and water spout jar. Bathrooms close by. Fire pits and wood to buy. Can rent canoes, kayaks, and fishing. We have had many reunions here at the rental shelters. Very nice park for camping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even have a house on the hill you can rent for glamping that comes with a cool red car golf kart.

Nice trails for the area. Level of difficulty well marked, easy to most difficult. Short options and longer ones with some hills for better cardio. Trails seem well kept. It seems there’s roughly 10 miles of trails. Makes for a nice time with good variety. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Absolutely gorgeous place in the summertime! Great prices for boating/kayaking rentals as well! This place is a must visit if you’re in the area!

Great place...grounds r maintained with allot of space for bank fishin. Boat ramp is NICE paved/concrete n is Not steep n very SAFE. Fairly clean bathroom (ive seen ALLOT worse) it is a Great place for family outings. Needs an annual fish stocking program in my opinion. But id say fishin is good to those who want to put their time in to learn the lake. Anglers can expect to catch mostly Catfish, crappie, yellow bass, largemouth bass with the occasional hybrid striper. Never caught a walleye but A FEW were put in a few yrs ago. Not enuf for the size of the lake. Over all a good place to spend a day on...

I have never not once in my entire life been to a local or state park that not only has a "Host" (one of the semi-permant campers) to greet everyone and help show them around BUT also has lunch served by the park manager every sat for all campers...for FREE! The staff was fun and helpful, the park is beautiful and well kept. There is plenty of space to enjoy it as an individual with your pets and kayak, with your family and bikes, or with a big group tent camping and hiking trails. Definitely worth the visit. I'll be back far...
