I took 2 classes: animal behavior and comparison animal anatomy in summer 1973. I can’t remember the names of the 2 gentlemen professors who taught the classes. I was fascinated by scissortail flycatchers, so I studied them for a paper for the behavior class. One of the professors was hoping to find wolves in OK. So he took us out to at night to howl to record the wildlife responses. We only heard from coyotes—-but it was great fun! Thankfully no one was shot!
