Delightful as always. I love this park. We bring chairs, blankets, kayaks, snacks & friends and hang out for the afternoon. There’s a park for the kiddos to play. Tons of grassy areas for lawn games. My favorite place to kayak is the lily pads to the left of the landing. Today it was full of flowers and the best place to float on a windy day.

Family favorite. Rent kayak, canoe, paddle boats for $6. Lots of grassy space, grills. Great playground for kiddos. Swim beach and swim area are pretty good.

Duck Lake Park is a great hangout place for families. There's a sizeable playground area, two picnic buildings, and open access to one of Minnesota's many fresh water lakes. There are modern restrooms with showers available to the public. The sand beach is well upkept with rentable toys and paddle boats available. The only downside is that there are a number of sticks and stones in the water to step on, and sometimes passing boat traffic makes some larger waves that are less than great for weak swimmers.

Pack a lunch and a cold beverage.. this is a good spot to come for some healthy summer fun.

Best to come during the week, though, as it gets a bit crowded...

Great park area, they have a small playground, non-motorized boats for rent ($6/hr in 2017), and a medium sized (75ppl approx) covered picnic shelter you can rent ($30/day in 2017). The beach area is nice and maintained, and there are additional picnic tables and iron grills throughout the area. The one caution- watch out in early spring during migration as there seem to be a large number of geese and ducks that flock here, so there's lots of "goose grease." To be fair that is true of most parks in the area at that time. Great little park, our three kids (4-10) enjoyed it immensely,...

Duck Lake Park is a wonderful beach and picnic area. The water is shallow and only 3-4 feet deep as far as 50 yards out, so it's great for little kids. The bottom is sand and the water is much cleaner than Madison Lake. It also has numerous picnic tables with lovely shade trees, and tons of green space to frolick and play. The public restrooms are clean and only 100 yards from the beach. They were closed on June 8th 2020 due to Covid-19, but once that passes they are...
