Beautiful park with very well maintained walking lanes. New bathrooms are a very nice addition! This park isn’t very busy most of the times and is dog friendly, even though I walked alone I appreciate seeing them. Beautiful at any time of year, especially the tall pines area in the middle of the trail. Great spot for...

Came here for a day after some snow and it was so pretty and quiet (except at the bird feeders 😉). Thank you for plowing Sweetgum Trail (the only one i went on)!!! I enjoyed keeping my feet dry ☺️ Note: if youre doing the Winter Hike program, drive to park office off Lithopolis...

📍Dog-Friendly Stop 13/100: Walnut Woods Metro Park in Columbus, OH This was the first time our crew explored dog-friendly places in the Columbus area! We started at the Walnut Woods Dog Park. There’s a 3-acre space for large dogs with an agility course and wooded areas to roam off leash. After the park, we took a walk through the pines on the Sweetgum Trail. We stopped by Wario’s Beef & Pork afterward to try their famous chicken cutlet sub 🤌🏼 (it lived up to the hype!) With nearby coffee shops and breweries with dog-friendly patios, this park made for a perfect afternoon outing.
