The photos don't do the site ⚖️ justice! The boulder is huge! I almost had a Weird Al "Largest Ball of Twine in Minnesota" moment when my eyes 👀 popped out of my head when I first encountered the boulder. Trying to imagine ice moving something so huge is difficult. Unfortunately, the boulder fell victim to graffit i. Not much, but, why do people do that? The trail is short from the parking area. You cross over a small brook. Bring insect repellent! There is another boulder behind the big boulder. The pleasant aroma of nature. It was a scent I haven't noticed in a long while. I found it facinating. If you're in the area, stop by.

I like that boulder, That's a NICE boulder! Yes it is just a big rock, but it's size is impressive. You definitely should see it in person, pictures don't do this rock justice. The walk is extremely easy and short (mind you I am very rotund with a bad knee) The path is really flat, which is great for the elderly and I'm pretty sure someone in a wheelchair would be able to visit, as long as they can get around the gate. There is a little stream before the boulder that was crystal clear with leopard frogs and black winged damselflies!

I saw a big rock while hiking through the forest yesterday. It was an impressive sight, towering above the surrounding landscape. The rock’s rough, weathered surface was dotted with patches of lichen, and its sheer size made it look almost like a natural monument. I spent a few moments admiring it, trying to imagine the geological forces that shaped it over countless years. It was a reminder of nature’s grandeur and the timelessness of the earth's processes.

I enjoy this gigantic rock much more than a person probably should. It's so big as to be comical to me, and I laugh very much when its big rectangularity comes into view on the trail. Adding to the humor is the fact that it's actually pinkish up close...it's a huge pink rock...fantastic. The area is very peaceful, and the walk to the site from the parking area is easy and pretty short. I definitely recommend seeing it for oneself.

Madison Boulder is a must see if you are in the area! You may think, “Oh it’s a just a big rock”, but when you actually see it is amazing! It’s a quick 10 minute walk from the parking lot and you can’t really spend more than 15 minutes at the rock, because it’s a rock. It’s a real shame that people ruin the amazing work of Mother Nature with graffiti. Anyways definitely worth it to take 45-60min out of your day to see this.

There is handicapped accessible parking and an accessible trail that leads to the massive boulder that just looks like it came out of nowhere and was dropped there. To get the full effect of the size and a photograph, is best to have a person standing next to it. It was an easy hike in and an easy hike out and that's hard to find in the White Mountains.
