Love this beach! This is a more rocky side of Hammonasset Beach State park. It's a bit more remote. This is a good place for a walk, enjoying vistas, and enjoying a more secluded beach experience. This is hilly and rocky so not well suited for carriages, wheel chairs, or those with walking issues. You should also take care not to brush against the poison ivy. It grows abundantly along trails and even between some of the rocks. Note that parking here is limited to a smallish lit holding about 25 cars. In season you will likely park in the larger Meigs Nature Center which has a field for overflow parking and thus a larger capacity. It's about a 5 minute walk. Off season spaces are often available.
