Axehead Lake — Attraction in Maine Township

A cute lake tucked a bit from the street. It almost makes you forget all the people nearby. I enjoy walking around here during the summer, but after seeing it today it's just as pretty in the winter! If it weren't so cold I'd be able to admire the ice on top of the water more.

This is such a peaceful area & everyone keeps it clean. I've seen people go fishing here, but I've never done it myself so I don't know how good it is. This is a great place to relax when the weather is nice enough to do so.

For a "man made" body of water... It truly is a really nice, comfortable lake. 🎣 & picnicking along with it being a nice quiet lake to sit in a lawn chair, couple of 🍺's while firing up a quality cigar or some cheeba cheeba all while taking in the scenery! None of your typical stranger danger kind of guys lurking around either. With that said this lake is a rare find within Crook County! Reminder!!!
