Prairie Pines Playhouse, Mystery Dinner Theatre — Attraction in Maize

I love, love, love Prairie Pines! Their shows are always lighthearted and full of good energy. The performers serve the food which is a fun addition to the audience interaction. I have dietary restrictions and they always do an amazing job of accommodating me. I might not be able to eat all 3 courses everytime, but they sincerely try to make it happen (obviously letting them know farther in advance helps them). This is a MUST SEE!! My family and I went to “Bullets on Broadway”, a murder mystery musical/drama and it was absolutely fantastic. We were laughing SO hard, I cried from laughing a few times! The dinner and play were set up well so you had time to eat in between acts. The food and drinks were very good - they had lavender cocktails from the lavender farm there too! What an affordable and fun date night! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. This lavender farm invites you to take a breath and slow down. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The little shops are super cute and an experience you don't want to miss. The best part of the evening is being whisked away into fantasy murder mystery!
