A beautiful stretch of beach that seems to be meant for nice long walks along the surf. The parking was $3 for an hour when I went and the short hike down to the beach is decently steep, but I was able to make it down with some sturdy sandals. Not a great place to swim as there are several hazardous rocks within the immediate shore, but a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the sea breeze away from the crowds as when I went, I only saw about two other people and a few others paddle boarding out in the water. There's even a little cove at the far end of the shoreline if you can make...

Great place for relaxing. Lots of rocks! There is a small hike for the beach access so make sure to wear good shoes for the traction. The parking lot is good enough for 20 cars, which is good because that makes the place not too crowded. $10 all day parking or $3 an hour. Give it a try, La Piedra Beach is a pretty nice spot!! Playa La Piedra es un hermoso lugar para ir a relajarse y divertirse un rato buscando cangrejos y caracoles entre las piedras. Me gusto porque no hay mucha gente ya que no es una playa muy popular, pero en mi opinion es una...

We've been coming here for years and the beach is beautiful and peaceful. It's not crowded during the weekday, but weekends are full by noon. People tend to spread out and keep their distance anyway. The water is cold, as you would expect, but still fun to play in. The parking lot fills up by mid-morning and the portable toilets are gross. I don't think they clean them very often. On this particular occasion, trash was everywhere in the parking lot and the toilets were "stacked high" if you know what I mean. ...

Highly recommend for anyone that is not hauling any chairs or coolers. Ok if you plan a small picnic with blanket, umbrella, and a few sandwiches and drinks. Kids and pets should be able to handle the hike down and back up, just make sure you have the right hiking shoes and not sandals. Park in the parking lot and pay the full day, just in case you end up having a little extra fun. No life guard on duty and a bit rocky to get in the water.
