GREAT FOR YOUNGER KIDS! Bring sunscreen and an umbrella for shade, it's the south and we don't get a nice chilly fall.

Me and my partner spent the day together here on the farm and really enjoyed it!! Parking was a little daunting but we managed to find a spot, it was packed today.

We bought the $12 pass and stayed about two hours. We immediately hitched a ride with the hay wagon out into the field where we took our time picking a few sunflowers, until eventually we boarded another wagon making rounds and headed back to the common area.

They had a wide variety of pumpkins available, some already picked & waiting by the entrance and some still out in the field for that 'authentic experience.' There were also homemade treats & sweets, and their usual shop items available for purchase.

They also had hot food available for sale! I really wanted a funnel cake but we ended up getting two snow cones instead.

My only complaint was the warm weather combined with lack of shade. There were pavilions scattered around, but limited relief otherwise. The only reason we didn't stay longer was because of the sun exhaustion.

Honestly this place was such a blast when I was younger and every year they add more and expand- & also more bittersweet. It took until today when I was standing, gazing upon the 'corn crib' when I finally realized that I had blinked and aged out of the play. If I had been younger, presenting me with a huge pile of loose corn and saying 'go nuts' would have made my entire week. And now I'm old and I worry about my knees.

So if you're an adult, bring a hat & water. Great location for couples fall photos. If you're in possession of a small child, PLEASE take them here and buy them the $12 pass. They will have the time...

Very (unnecessarily) difficult and poor experience.

Representative was rude and ineffective at assisting Disabled Veteran with questions regarding accessibility and hours of operation.

In addition, called (in attempt) to verify hours on a day that the website noted that location may be temporarily closed. Call answered by individual who repeated greeting and did not respond to inquiries, before hanging up point blank. Initially I thought this in error, or possibly due to accessibility equipment malfunction, so I made repeated attempts to call using different equipment, speaker phone, phone speaker, and external headset.

After multiple calls, I asked if I could be heard clearly, to which the individual answered "No.", I changed equipment and asked if this was better, and if they could hear me, but was again responded to in the form of "No". I toggled speaker phone and asked if the person could hear me better this way. Again a "No". I expressed that I didn't understand what was going on or why they were (seemingly) responding with "No" if they could hear me asking the question, but thr individual just disconnected the call.

It was only after this that it occurred to me that this individual may have been acting with malice or intent to confuse, disrupt, or otherwise be unhelpful/harmful, and not actually communicate to assist with customer needs and inquiries, even in something so simple as attempting to verify operating hours and other basic business information not available on the website.

I am deeply saddened, confused, and hurt that any customer could be handled this way, let alone a person with disabilities or a veteran of the United...

We have been coming to Aplin farms for years and usually met with kindness and lots of fun but today wasn’t the case. We arrived 15 minutes early for our field trip so we could get everyone paid and admitted to start the field trip. When we arrived an spoke to the man at the counter and told him who we were he acted like we didn’t have a field trip booked even though I got the confirmation text. Then he said we couldn’t do the full activities with the field trip package only the wagon ride and educational demonstration then we had to leave. There were other field trips already inside and they were playing and enjoying all the activities except the inflatables. The man told us we couldn’t do any of that if we did the field trip and that we had to leave after the educational class was over. Then told us the kids don’t enjoy the educational stuff anyways so we should just do general admission. So that’s what we did even though a lot of us were frustrated we stayed an paid the extra money because our kids would be upset and there was a large group of us that drove all the way here to do this. After we the majority of us went inside and we’re waiting for the rest to get in the man at the counter was saying negative things about us to other customers and to the other homeschoolers. Saying we are wishy washy and that he doesnt like homeschoolers just because he had a past experience with homeschoolers he treated us like trash. Very disappointed with the way they treated PAYING CUSTOMERS. Just because we homeschool our children doesn’t make us LESS THAN other people. They lost a lot of customers today. IF YOUR NOT A HOMESCHOOLER ITS A FUN...

I hate that the sunflowers weren't ready yet! But if you live near the Dothan/Enterprise area, this is a great place to take the family for some fall fun. #dothanalabama #sunflowerpatch #pumpkinpatch #fallactivities #fyp

What a jewel that’s tucked away on the back roads. I was taking a drive and found it. I’m so glad I stopped and checked it out. They had a blackberry patch I was encouraged to explore. For a moment, thoughts of childhood and the thorny bushes resurfaced. But, the store attendant was sure I would have a different experience. And I did. I have a wonderful time picking the largest blackberries I had ever seen. My goodness were they tasty! The next time, I hope to explore the peach trees. There’s nothing like picking your own fruit. You get tree and vine-ripen. I’m looking forward to returning in June to get fresh veggies.
