The firefighters said it was too preserve further damage from the fires. I've visited several forests and the remnants of these trees is devastation. In fact, I asked the trees for forgiveness on behalf of the human race.

Different tree formations, burnt trees, cut trees, curved tree trunks, mutilated trees, beautiful trees, and trees in need of our protection. Not an astounding lake but good photos. Dogs, children and adults can manage this trail. Traveled during active fire season in November 2020. #deforestation...

Total elevation gain is 347, pretty much from the trailhead to the lake. It's about 1.8 miles from trailhead up to the lake, loop around and head back down. Less than an hour if you keep up your pace and still get some photos in.

The lake is very picturesque and seems like the perfect place to relax during summer with nice flat places all...
