Great multi use area for hiking, snowshoeing, swimming, exploring. Parking is limited near the gate and access to well marked trails is through a central dirt road. We explored an old foundation and the walking trails. The central road is nearly flat but branching trails lose altitude fast as you approach the pond. No vehicles allowed inside the gates. No bathrooms, tables, or benches. Great destination for all ages and ability levels.

A lovely and peaceful loop of trails. A bit rough with ice and snow but in the warmer months, a fantastic place to get out and move. Mostly easy terrain. A few boulders and lots of fallen trees but a hidden gem for a local day hike.

We went in January, it was a nice trek through the woods, very pretty around the lake. The trail did have an a c patch that we went around. Some people were skating, and ice fishing.

Beautiful spot, nice drive to get there and enough parking for about 15 cars/trucks if they park correctly. Water was warm and had a lot of silt and soft tree bark etc etc at the bottom in certain spots, Lily pads and reeds in other parts. Sandy spot right near the entrance for safe and pleasant swimming. We did see one leech and there was some sort of extended family gathering happening and a lot of the adults were smoking both weed and cigarettes, some had open beer and we're smoking directly next to their small children. We left early because we couldn't handle them chain smoking and swearing anymore. Other than the other people...

This is a lightly used wooded park of about 200 acres. It has about two miles of trails which begin at the primary parking lot one mile in from the paved road. There are maps at every trail junction. The trails are well marked. There are a few alternate parking spots and trail...
