Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park — Attraction in Manning

The Manning Hausbarn is a site of cultural and historical importance. The reconstructed thatched house serves as a unique living museum and was interesting and educational to walk through.

The event center was a bit tired inside - dark and not well lit. Could use a revamp. Bar area could be cuter and should offer more German beers…considering it is a German center. The bathrooms were clean. Lots of parking spaces in the gravel lot.

The exterior grounds are quite lovely but could benefit from some more native, pollinator plants instead...

The place is absolutely gorgeous!! Our wedding was beautiful, the weather was hot but the air conditioning was wonderful and everyone had fun!! The atmosphere is extremely calming and there is plenty of space too!! They are putting up a boulders motel right next door should be up soon!! Freda and her husband were very nice and offered help and advice plus they took out all of our garbage for us!! If I had to do it all over again I would definetly do it there again!! My daughter was married in the grove on the Hausbarn property. It was absolutely beautiful. Even though the day was warm, it was at least 10 degrees cooler in the shade provided by the trees. The reception was held in the convention center and we also used the newly redone patio for games. The managers were wonderful to work with and provided answers to our questions whenever needed. The Boulders Inn and Suites right next door is a big plus as well. Highly...
