Located just outside Austin, The Grand Lady benefits from proximity to the city while offering a serene and picturesque setting away from the urban hustle. While being about 30 minutes from downtown the accessibility by our private bus or car were convenient for our guests traveling from Austin or nearby areas. The combination of a southern mansion and a modern reception building offered us a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary amenities These 2 areas were separated by a meandering garden was just beautiful. The availability of both indoor and outdoor spaces gave us flexibility regardless of the weather, which is crucial for Texas’s unpredictable climate. Ample room for our 80 guests gave us spacious yet intimate feeling setting, accommodating both the wedding ceremony and reception seamlessly. The staff worked with us and our wedding planner to anticipate our needs and collaborated smoothly with our vendors such as caterers and musicians etc. They were very professional and made sure we had a smooth and enjoyable day. Many of our guests told us that it was one of their favorite weddings to attend and I’m sure it was partly due to the Grand Lady’s professionalism, ambiance and overall enjoyment of the day. The Grand Lady provided a wonderful and memorable wedding day for our daughter and her husband, which was ultimately the most important thing for us all. The Grand Lady delivered on all fronts, making it a highly recommended choice for couples seeking an amazing wedding venue near Austin, Texas. In conclusion, The Grand Lady was a superb choice for couples looking for a wedding venue that blends historic Texas charm with modern amenities, offers flexible spaces, excellent service, and contributed to a memorable and enjoyable wedding day experience for us all. Thank you to Carly...

The Grand Lady is truly the best wedding venue in Austin — hands down. We got married there in April 2025, and it exceeded every single one of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the venue offered everything we needed and more.

To start, the historic house is absolutely stunning. It had ample space for me, my husband, and our wedding party to get ready comfortably. The bridal suite, in particular, is filled with natural light — it’s spacious, cozy, and made the morning of the wedding so peaceful (a very underrated part of the day!).

The ceremony on the front lawn was straight out of a dream. Our guests could not stop raving about how magical and beautiful everything looked when they arrived. Afterward, the courtyard was the perfect spot for cocktail hour, and the reception building was such a versatile and breathtaking space. The abundance of natural light and those gorgeous windows made the whole night feel warm and romantic.

One of the best parts of the Grand Lady is the team. Throughout our engagement, we spent several planning days on-site, and every time, the staff was incredibly supportive and helpful. I especially want to shout out Elena — I called her just four days before the wedding, anxious about the rising temperatures, and she immediately helped us come up with a plan. Thanks to her, we had beautiful umbrellas set up for cocktail hour, which made such a difference.

And finally… THE GARDEN. It's so beautiful it deserves its own sentence.

We can’t say enough good things about the Grand Lady. If you’re considering it for your wedding, do it. You...

Amazing venue and staffing team. This venue is completely stunning and unlike any wedding venue we have ever seen. Every single one of our guests complimented us on it. The site sits close to the city yet feels very secluded. We loved how large the property is so there is room for everything. We found it so special to be able to get ready onsite inside the mansion and that the flowers came from their own garden. Working with everyone on The Grand Lady team was easy as they are quick to respond and help with any of our needs/concerns. We did experience one minor issue as to our rehearsal day. We had scheduled our rehearsal via email and discussed at our final walk through a month before the day of the event. The day of the rehearsal we called to ask a question and discovered they forgot to schedule us to have our rehearsal that evening and now booked another event for the same time. Thankfully, they still allowed us to come and it was not a big deal, however we were confined to only the lawn area. Despite the small hiccup everything else was perfect and a lot of that is attributed to the phenomenal team and event space. Grand Lady truly offers everything you could need for a wedding making us confident in the space plus they provided an extensive list of vendors we could trust to create our dream day! Highly recommend having your wedding at the Grand Lady as it will be a place everyone will...

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Grand Lady in Austin, and I have to say it’s one of those rare venues that truly shines in any weather! We had a classic Texas spring day with an unpredictable rain shower, but The Grand Lady handled it beautifully. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is incredibly versatile! When the rain rolled in, the indoor reception hall was transformed into a beautiful ceremony space filled with natural light and a warmth that made every photo feel like you were still outdoors. Even during the short rain shower, the space looked amazing in camera, and guests stayed comfortable and happy. Another huge plus is the proximity between the home and the reception hall. It made transitions seamless, especially for quick family portraits in between rain showers. No long walks or complicated logistics for guests. We were able to grab beautiful shots in front of the mansion, then duck into the hall just steps away. When the skies cleared for a bit, we took a short walk to the garden, where the spring flowers were in full bloom. It was the perfect backdrop for romantic couple portraits! No matter the weather, The Grand Lady has you covered! It’s a dream location from both a visual and logistical standpoint. I can't wait to be back!

The Grand Lady is classic and modern at the same time. As soon as my daughter saw this venue she knew this is where she wanted to get married. The staff was so helpful and passionate about the venue as well. The mansion is the perfect place for the bridal party to get ready for the day--the bridesmaids upstairs and the groomsmen down in the library. It is so special and convenient to have the ceremony and the reception all in the same location. The Grand Lady is close enough to the airport and the city, yet just far enough out of town to seem rural. The grounds were just as beautiful in November as they were when we visited in March. The reception hall is just stunning with the wall of windows and it is beautiful both day and night. The reception was so much fun and we received so many compliments from the guests. The bartenders from Lone Star Draft mobile bartending provided so much personality and fun, and the specialty drinks were by far better than any I have tasted at a wedding. I am attaching photos that capture the beauty of the grounds as well as the reception hall.
