I don't live in Texas, but have visited a few times, and hope to visit again in 2024. I have found that many dogs are off leash, even though the rules clearly say that pets must be on a leash. My simple question is that why is this rule broken all the time? In my State of MN, the rule is broken, but it is extremely rare. In Texas, it is broken consistently, from what I have observed. (I am only talking about Austin, TX - in my case.) Would it be OK for me to break other rules that are clearly marked? Would everyone be OK with that, including the authorities? Please don't get offended, but it is simply an observation, and a few simple questions. Feel free to do as you please, and I do not live there so it doesn't really affect me too...

So it is a wonderful park, but is this a public park? I reached out to the City of Manor for an answer, and they have not responded. My question is, was public taxes used to build this park exclusively for the residents of Shadow Glen? The reason I ask is that there is no public parking nearby. One response was to park at the school, which might be fine on a weekend but could be an issue during a school day. In addition, the school is several blocks removed from the park. I also would like to see the park wheelchair accessible. This is the reason I gave it a 2...

Really nice trail, wood-chip walking surface lined with well-mowed grass. Wilbarger Creek touches one side. Feels like walking on a wide path through a forest. The downside is poor signage and poor description online. I read on Internet that the trail is just over one mile. It is actually about two miles. It look like on satellite view that there is a cutoff that would cut the distance to about a mile. But the was no signage or “you...

Great community trail that loops around with a 1 mile marker. The trail seems very well maintained and clean. There is signage at the front with rules to follow. There were 2 locations you could find doggy bags and trash can to dispose of items. This trail is great for a nature walk, jog, or running. There is shade but you will go through bits were you will get some sun. Wear closed toes shoes for more comfort.
