I recently visited Hayes Farm with high expectations, hoping to purchase some fresh goat meat for a special occasion. However, my experience left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated.
During my previous visit, Hayes Farm used to weigh the goat meat and sell it at a price per pound. This allowed customers to have control over the quantity they desired and pay accordingly. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, I discovered that they had switched to selling whole chivo / goats at a fixed price. This new approach completely disregarded customer preferences and resulted in an unpleasant experience.
By selling the goats as a whole with a fixed price, Hayes Farm has eliminated the freedom of choice and flexibility that their customers once enjoyed. It is frustrating to be forced into purchasing an entire goat when you only require a portion of it. This new pricing strategy not only inconveniences customers but also feels like a ploy to maximize profits without considering customer satisfaction.
As someone who values transparency and fair pricing, I find this change in approach to be unacceptable. It appears that Hayes Farm is prioritizing their own convenience and profit over customer satisfaction. This shift in their business model has significantly tarnished my perception of their farm.
I strongly urge Hayes Farm to reconsider this new fixed pricing system and revert to their previous method of weighing and selling goat meat per pound. By doing so, they can restore the freedom of choice and ensure a more positive experience for their customers.
In light of this disappointing visit and the lack of consideration for customer preferences, I can only provide Hayes Farm with a one-star rating. I hope they take this feedback seriously and strive to improve their approach...
Read moreNot the best place to have animals processed. Take bags to put your meat or be prepared to buy bags, but I wouldn't take anything there again. I took 29 chickens and the way they were killed was super messy as their necks were cut with a not so sharp knife and then tossed into a 50 gallon plastic container to die. Their waste and grass that was inside of their crops got all over them. They had a lot of feathers left on them. They weren't cleaned well so I had to re wash them when I brought them home, but due to how they were handled there was grass and dirt all over and stuck in their skin, staining from removing their insides as one of their gallbladder's burst and they were just drug through the green fluid. Parts were left inside and to remove the legs and other parts they use a bandsaw so the bones punctured the bags they were put in and made a mess all over my car. If you want cheap and to have to finish the job, here you get what you pay for. Also they don't speak English and they speak a different dialect of Spanish than that from Mexico so it was difficult communicating for someone that learned Spanish as a...

Today I went there with my 11 months old and my 2 year old. I trusted them so I did not wait to see the chicken. When I got home I was in the biggest shock of my life. First of all I had 8 gall bladders. When I opened the gall bladder they were exempt some had just but a few stones. Normally i would find an egg. This time there was nothing .I quickly checked the chicken. That chicken was soo skinny and there was barely any meat. I blame my self for not checking . When I called to complain the lady told me it was my problem. When I asked to speak to the manager they just placed me on hold forever . I tried calling back for over 10 times. They ignored me.This people can not be trusted make sure you double check before and after they kill the chicken. I feel cheated . Their weakedness will follow them and to the manager I hear the girls call you but you ignored and chose to place me on hold and later...
