The 4.1-mile loop around the reservoir is perfect for walking or biking. The dirt/gravel road is wide, mostly flat, and most of it is closed to cars so it is great for riding side by side or with children. (Note that if you are pulling a bike trailer with kids riding inside, there are two places where the road is gated to stop cars. Bikes can easily go around, but at one of them bikes/walkers must go through a narrow trail between rocks. Bike trailers will not fit through that spot so you'll either have to turn around at that point or remove the trailer, lift it over, and reattach.) The biggest downside is the water is seemingly stagnant and stinks from time to time. Three other vehicle owners were confused by the lack of communication of where you’re allowed to park. I paid the price... literally.
