Love this place. The hill for sledding is an absolute blast. it is awesome when the runs slick up a bit make it super fast. The downside (probably only for very few of us) is being a big guy i frequently fly past the end and sometimes need to bail to not run into the fencing. There isn't a lot of light at the bottom and have nearly taken people out at the knees because I get going so fast. I am not really sure how to fix that short of making more rumble strips at the end.
the only reason it is 4 stars is due to the price. it isn't cheap for the small amount of time you get to go sledding. if there is a season pass option I will probably be looking into that...
Read moreHow did I miss this place? I went with a group from my yoga and Tai Chi practice. Amazing sledding. We were able to go down in groups of 5-8, which made it even more fun. Bring sunglasses on bright days as the snow gets blinding. The lines went quickly, and the people and sled mover allowed us to get back up the hill quickly. It's a great core workout trying to keep your balance as the tread can be bumpy. Signing up on the website is a breeze as well. There is overflow parking with a shuttle to the main building. The line back can get long, but it's a beautiful mile walk back if you don't want to wait. Can't wait to go back...
Read moreGreat place for Winter activities including snow tubing, Cross Country skiing and down hill skiing. There is also a small sledding hill next to the swimming pond on the north side of the park. All the employees who I have interacted with are great, very professional and polite as well. Ski Chalet is great for gathering your friends and family, warming up near the fireplace and concessions available at posted times as well. I would highly recommend this venue for my winter activities. Also you can hike along the trails with your friends, family...
