3-15-24 4:30pm, air temp 50. My wife and I came here to take our two medium-sized dogs for a walk. I would imagine it was so quiet due to the time of year. Very large parking lot here with many spaces, we were one of four vehicles. The park looks to offer everything from paved hiking/ walking paths, beach, many areas set up to have a picnic with smaller groups, one area could host a party. Also have volleyball, basketball, ice skating, baseball/ softball, soccer. We took our dogs on roughly a 45min walk. Definitely worth checking out, likely rather busy in the summer months.
Pleasent hike, though feels lacking with how short it is. Only reason for 4 star.
One downside, wish the hiking was...

Loud teenagers like to smoke weed and bump there rap music in the parking lot and ask everyone on their way in and out for cigarettes. It's not the quiet place that it once was. It's more like an inner city park now. Looking for a new park to go visit after visiting twice and being harassed during a weekday when I thought it would be empty. It was once a great park but has gotten...

There are some really nice trails for a walk or run, plus fields for football, tennis, and even pickleball. They’ve also got this huge area for grilling and barbecuing, so it’s great for family cookouts. And the best part? It’s right by the lake, so you can take a swim (as long as the weather’s good) until 8 PM. Honestly, it’s got everything you need for a fun and relaxing day outdoors. Highly recommend...
