Lake Winyah — Attraction in Maple Ridge Township

Don't even understand how they could have an MLF tournament here!! Drove around for half an hour trying to find a public Access boat ramp. Finally found a very small ramp with very limited parking. Put in and fished the river part at the Norway dam did just okay caught 1 very small smallmouth and several baby Pike. Went out to the main area of the lake and was extremely disappointed, saw lots of areas I would have loved to fish but couldn't due to the really shallow water and the overabundance of weeds.
