Quiet, secluded. Nice place to walk in the valley. Enjoy the streams and rock formations. Loved the butterflies (mid-June) and the sound of wild birds.

The road coming in has some serious ruts and drainage issues. I hit bottom in my Civic, so unless you have a vehicle with high clearance, park on the main road...

Great secluded location and the best view in Iowa hands down. If you don't mind a decent hike and appreciate quiet camping this should be your next destination. Good trails, fire pit picnic tables, plenty of room for hammocks or tents. Bathrooms are not for the faint of heart but are very...
