We are from Northern Iowa and ended up camping in Maquoketa over the weekend. We found this place because we enjoy seeing new territory. This area had a wide variety of terrain and skill levels. This place is a beautiful resource for the hiker or outdoor enthusiast. I would have rated it higher except for the signage on trail could be marked better especially when going from mowed trail to game trail types.
