Incredible beach when its low tide! This beach isnt accessible when its high tide since the water will hit the wall. The water has always been clean in my experience. Its more shallow than Devereux. It doesnt have that dip like Devereux has after a few feet. There are lots of kids so really great for families. We don’t have kids but still find it to be a great time and there aren’t children on top of us. At low tide, you can walk to Phillips Beach! Parking is very limited and I believe costs $20 if not a Swampscott resident. We usually have someone drop us off or we’ll walk/ride bikes. Keep in mind there are stairs down to the beach.

Hidden gem and arguably the best beach in Marblehead/Swampscott. Make sure to check the tide before you go. Beautiful for sunrise, well managed, and clean property. Parking available but limited/paid in the summer.

Apparently we created a big sin buy parking in a space that was not explained it was for residents only however it looks like a completely legal parking space from all other aspects, we spent a whole 15 minutes on the beach so we could collect a few shells, and of course we found ourselves with a parking ticket not because we were parked in the wrong space but because we're that we are not residents of Massachusetts. So out-of-towners beware of this Beach is a ticket trap. However there is a dinky little parking lot across the street that you can park for a ridiculous fee for just a few minutes we were there it was not worth it and it was a perfectly good parking space just because we were not residence we were ticketed the $25 beware. Sounds like a counterproductive way to attract tourists....or is it a way to discourage tourists at...

Mediocre beach (but better than Marblehead beach)! Preston Beach at least has sand. Absolutely no amenities. An icecream truck stops by here and there. They have designed a replica Stonhenge and hold celebrations for summer solstice there. Weird but kind of cool to see that many ppl getting out of bed to watch sun rise. Little prayer and some gongs and then everyone goes...
