Plenty of parking in the front and a few spots in the back; accessible spots are at the front of the museum and at the back, in the gravel lot, there is some shade which is great for summers. Once you get there, there's two buildings. If you come in from the back lot- it can be a bit confusing- but it's to your right; on the left are the offices.
It's free to visit, and the museum staff were welcoming. Make sure to check though before coming on holidays as they can be short staffed. Inside there's a main gallery with artwork done by the community. It was like a mini art museum, and it was nice to see the local artwork. Beyond that are two smaller rooms. At the very back is a room about the Native American roles in war, and then the other room to the side is about the family tree. At the back there's also an elevator which allows you to get up to the second floor which is pretty much an open air rooftop. There's some interesting carvings on the side walls, and from there you can get a nice 360 birds-eye view of the surrounding area.
It was a short stop- even if you take the time to read everything, you can be in and out of there within an hour. Nice quick...

The baskets woven by Ak-Chin women were amazing, the language book and curriculum were obviously a major undertaking, the veteran room was inspiring and the entire museum was educational. A big thanks to Evelyn who gave us an overview then let us wander more. We'll be back next year to see a new...
