We thought Vinayaka Chavithi was today when the puja was already done yesterday. Though it was friday, I went to the Annalakshmi hall to check if the food is being served just in case after the darshan. We were so hungry and felt very weak. We simply headed back to the car to go home. While on my way, a person from a shed near the temple came out and told us both to wait for 10 minutes and come to the hall. We waited and once we went inside, he arranged us two boxes with food packed very well and gave us two water bottles. For a second, all this felt like a miracle. This must be a silly story to share but considering how hungry and famished we were, this seemed like god understood us. I really hope this good Samaritan knows how much his act made us believe more in God and humanity. Thank you very much! I feel like I am in India when I visit this temple. We visit this place almost regularly every week and we will...

I paid $20 for achana and the priest from the moment I stepped into the temple judged and was being rude to my face.. The general practice during an Archana is to ask for Gothra, name and then nakshatra. But he was so reckless and unprofessional and did the Archana with little to no interest.. Iike dude do you bloody job, U have no clue who I am and What I wear is none of your bloody business. I saw him being so good to the previous family because they spoke in Tamil. This is a perfect example of "God grants u wishes but pujari doesn't ". It's not about the money it's about the principle of being just and fair. I believed this place would be an ideal place outside the city for devotion and meditation but it turned out to be a place of judgemental, distriminating...

Arizona's Mahaganpati Temple: A radiant haven of divine bliss. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this vibrant temple is always ablaze with colorful, fragrant marigolds and the soothing sounds of devotional songs. The towering, jewel-encrusted Ganesha idol symbolizes generosity, while intricate carvings and festive decorations uplift the soul. After prayers, participate in a lively aarti or enjoy blessed prasad. Annual festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi bring dance, music and communal feasting to the fore. Warm volunteers share stories of faith, encouraging inclusivity. Parking can be tight during festivals, but the temple's infectious positivity and cultural richness enrich the soul and...

Beautiful Indian style temple, with multiple deities consecrated on the premises. Lord Ganesha as the namesake is the chief deity of this temple but many other major gods and goddesses are also present. The temple is built in a very southern indian akin architecture style. The temple is under construction with planned expansions and renovations but has good facilities. It is a bit out of the way in a more secluded area and a bit away from Phoenix downtown (~35 miles) and requires a car for transportation but overall a great place to visit. Welcoming to all people who come with an open mind and appreciation of the universal community and brotherhood.

The Mahaganapathi Temple in Arizona is truly a divine sanctuary with a peaceful atmosphere that draws visitors into a deep spiritual experience. Alongside the main deity, Lord Ganesha, the temple houses beautifully crafted shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Visalakshi, Lord Subramanya, Ayyappa, Goddess Mahalakshmi, Lord Venkateswara, Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman, and Nataraja. Each shrine is meticulously adorned, allowing devotees to connect with multiple aspects of the divine in a single, serene space. The temple’s authentic ambiance and devotion-filled rituals make it a true oasis of spirituality in Arizona.

I visited this temple with family last year and it was a great Hindu temple to visit. I drove my car all the way from San Diego to this place and had a wonderful experience. Because of Covid restrictions, I had to register before the visit. For the first time, I felt a bit hard to get the directions to the temple because it was dark and still temple was under construction. You also find other idols of gods in this temple. At least once you need to visit this place and experience the feeling.
