I wasnt in the park but I was on the little bridge right next to the park entrance. I've never seen more people disregard a series of road closed signs. They would drive clean into the bottom of the hollow thinking they were still gonna be able to get across !!!!! There's no bridge Bill !!!! Then they would prefer to flip out on us.... Then make up stories about how they aren't from around there but in the same sentence give specific names of people that lived at the end of the road. Make sure you find the covered bridge, follow the trail up there hill to the left, and the the next split, follow the trail to the right. Be prepared to hike for an hour or so, but it will bring you to a small trail to the right down over the hill to another smaller foot bridge over the creek. You can see the bridge from the main trail. The main trail does keep going... Not sure to where... But I'm certain it's still in the park. Might end up quite a walk back to...
Read moreThis is a nice nature park. Although my review is based on the playground area only. They do have hiking trails and a nice fishing pond and lots of pic nick areas. There’s a really cool covered bridge. The road has mile markers if you walk along it. The playground is really young kid friendly and also wheelchair friendly they have a nice swing set so people who are in wheelchairs can also enjoy the fun of the playground.
