Tom Harvey Memorial Dog Park — Attraction in Marion Township

Stayed at Cowan Lake State Park just a few miles away. Never been to a "dog park" like this. There are so many trails, open areas. You can't see it all in one day. Total pooch paradise ! We have a 10 year old rescue German Shepherd who has never been well socialized, so we have to keep him on lead with a muzzle on trails. At the entrance area, there is a great spot for your critter to run free and swim as you keep an eye on other visitors. Stopped in several times and so very grateful for a park like this ! LOVE ITTTTTTT!!!!!!!

This is one of our favorite dog parks! We come out here every once in a while from Mason, and it’s always a nice little getaway. There are tons of trails through the woods that feel more like a hike than a typical dog park. Before you get to the wooded part, there’s a big open field with wildflowers and even a pond—our dog loves it. They also have a dog wash station with soap and water, which is super handy after all the exploring. Definitely a cool spot...

The owner is amazing and the park is very well maintained. It's a huge beautiful space. However be a bit cautious of others/ask about a dogs behavior. My girl was bitten by a dalmatian here. Once the owners saw her busted lip and the blood they took off fast. No altercation, no warning, no smelling it was pretty out of nowhere.
