This place was beautiful. We followed a winding, gravely road down several twists and turns intil it opened to a green oasis. There were.several park benches good for picnics. There is a nice little rocky area by the water to walk. The main attraction is fhe summer falls waterfall. It is beautiful.

The hike is not difficult, but is single file. It does have significant rockys areas and loose dirt. Once at the top, the veiw is beautiful. Not the best for little kids unless you are willing to go slow and/or carry them.

There is a cool, small space behind the falls were you can go under it to the far side of the rocks and below the falls. There is a lot of moss, so be aware that it might be slippery.

My family (including a three your old) made ot up, in about 10 minutes. The trail os npt big enough for people passing or coming off the falls, so there was a couple times we had to move off the trail for people coming down. After, we had a noce lunch in the grassy area around the water. It was a beautiful place.

The only downside is that there is no swimming. Do to the faxt that it is attached to a dam, the water level fluctuate so quickly for swimming to happen. Many years ago 3 kids drown there so swimming is off limits. Its fhe only then that would make the...

The road to get here is quite rugged - on AWD my whole car was rattling. Put it in your nav and leave it because I didn't have cell service. Once you get to the end of the road there is a nice green open grassy space with some picnic tables, porta potties, and trees. I didn't know this area was a memorial or that you couldn't paddle board, swim, or hike here ahead of time. It is a nice, well maintained space, but I was disappointed I could only see from such a distance for the trek...

So some kids drowned there in the 70's. ...and everyone says it's dangerous to swim there. Those kids were sliding down the waterfall, and while they were doing that, the people at the dam let out more water and the kids got overwhelmed in it and drowned. I've been swimming there for 15 years and the waterfall has never come and got me. Just don't swim right next to it and probably don't slide down it. Yes, of course there's signs that say don't swim there. Why do you...

Beautiful park with a great view of the waterfall, a true oasis in the desert. There are marmots everywhere! So cute! (Please don't chase them) Swimming is not allowed, there is a memorial plaque that tells the story of several people who lost their lives due to the undertow of the waterfall. 1.5 mile gravel road leading to the park can be bumpy, but it is maintained, so no big potholes, just some washboards. Secluded, well kept, quiet, peaceful. Two covered areas. Four permanent charcoal barbecuers. Two water spigots (although the one we tried didn't work). 4 ft stone retaining wall separating the water from the park. It's a steep gravel road going down to but our van had no issues getting to in the summer.
