Beartown state park-Boardwalk — Attraction in Marlinton

Wow!!! Amazing geographical area. Ranger at Drooper suggested I go. Was there at 6pm. Solo traveler and noone there. Felt so at peace. Every turn is another amazing rock formation. I wasn't thrilled about stopping to see the Beartown Boardwalk on my way back to DC, but my roadtrip companion insisted. Boy, was I wrong! This was definitely time well spent. This boardwalk is one of the best I have visited. Unique environment with unique vegetation gave this place a great place to be with the nature. The place is isolated yet one of the well built boardwalks. Please.. please…be responsible and care for the nature. There are plastic bottles and litter under the boardwalk in some places.
